Clients with the right bridges and enough cash can hire "Actives", citizens whoever have been programmed to ideally fulfill the lacks, and needs of their clients. The Actives are citizens whoever have selected, for their possess purposes, to surrender their bodies and brains for a five-year remain in the Dollhouse. Now they can be imprinted with any personality, proficiency, or even muscle memory. They can be the ideal companion, lover, spy, assassin; and as shortly as the vocation is done they forget everything. But something is mistaken with the Active paged "Echo".
