Weeds is a US  comical  presentation    TV   sequence   conceived  by Jenji Kohan,  made  by Lionsgate Television for the Showtime network.

The contrive rotates round a widowed housewife (Mary-Louise Parker) from an affluent California suburb who becomes her neighborhood's marijuana trader to make finishes meet. The name is a play on phrases, mentioning to a commonly-used slang period for marijuana. It furthermore mentions to the inclination of American suburbs to augment rapidly and pervasively, with the houses and their inhabitants being nearly as similar as weeds. This is mirrored in the show's topic recital "Little Boxes" and unfastening credits, and is a recurring topic of the display itself. Going against this "all the same" topic, over the second and third times of the year the topic recital is presented by over 20 distinct artists.
